1. GENERAL INFORMATION
- The Consulate General certifies signatures of Brazilian citizens on documents for different purposes.
- The Brazilian citizen must come in person to the Consulate General for the certification of his/her signature
- If the Brazilian citizen cannot come in person, the steps predicted for legalization of documents must be followed.
Documents
- The original document (which must be signed in the presence of the consular authority); and
- An idendification document of the Brazilian national (identity card or passport).
Fee
- The consular fee for certification of signature is Cnd $36.00, which must be paid through money order or certified cheque to the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto. Cash will not be accepted.
- The certification of signature is done up to five working days, from 9 to 1 PM.
